Hi Quinton,
We met with Redgate at 11:30am yesterday morning to review the tree ordinance compliance issues. I have asked for a follow up meeting with the group where it is expected that they will provide more details vis-a-vis their tree planting proposal. At this time no permits have been granted relative to the project. My understanding is that at this time no permit applications have been submitted for consideration, to include demolition permits. It is expected that revised submittals in compliance with the tree ordinance will be provided to the City Arborist before the issuance of a building permit as per the Planning Board decision.
Page 24, paragraph 3 of the Planning Board decision provides direction to the developer that she/he should seek further certification specific to the Tree Protection Ordinance which “as a minimum identifies the courtyard trees as existing trees to clarify compliance with the tree protection ordinance”,
Thanks,
Owen
