Alewife Brook Greenway users are invited to join in a cleanup of a section of the path in Arlington on Saturday, July 26, from 10:00am - Noon.
Volunteers should meet at the bottom of the boardwalk on the greenway, just east of where the path meets Broadway (near intersection of Route 16/Broadway; across the street from Saint Paul’s cemetery). Trash will be collected in the area between the path and Alewife Brook, from the boardwalk to Broadway.
Bags and gloves will be provided, along with refreshments. In the event of heavy rain, the cleanup will be canceled. The cleanup is being organized by a group of path users and neighbors.
