I had a few minutes this afternoon and stopped by Blair Pond, after seeing the posts from others. I was delighted to get a chance to watch the Northern Shoveler & the Wood Duck (both males) interact with the many Mallards. How lucky to have such a close sighting. I'd seen some Northern Shovelers before at the Arlington Reservoir, but never this close up.
