Arlington
After hearing Bob's Menotomy Bird Club trip there on Wednesday, Renee,
Alan and I decided to go to Danehy Park this morning. We parked in the
Sherman Street parking lot, and went directly to the top of the hill
where there are long grasses edging the path, and a bunch of conifers.
We must have spent close to an hour there, enjoying two Dickcissels, a
White-crowned Sparrow, and an Orange-crowned Warbler among other things.
The Alewife Peregrine was not in its usual place in the notch on the
side of the building, but was enjoying breakfast on top of the first
building. Nice day.
