Classroom environmental programs
California Redwood Forest musician, Andy Barnett Andy was the MC of Springtime Celebration at the Belmont Uplands for FAR Hello! I am offering your school the World of Music, my hands-on multi-cultural experiences in world music and creativity. I present assemblies, workshops and residencies. My musical career spans three decades and many disciplines. I teach music in schools in northern California. I have recorded extensively with Music for Little People records, and teach music courses at the Dell Arte International School of Physical Theater in Blue Lake, California. I have received regional and national grants for my work. My book, "Compose Yourself! Awakening to the Rhythms of Life," is published by Llewellyn Worldwide (2003). I have presented in communities all over the West, and nationally, including the greater Boston area. Enclosed is a flier about my programs. I am looking forward to talking to you about how the World of Music will inspire your students and augment your curriculum.
