BREAKHEART RESERVATION: Ranger Dan's Family Hikes
Explore Breakheart Reservation at a gentle family friendly pace. Long sleeves, long socks, and long pants are recommended. Wear sturdy footwear and bring drinking water.

MIDDLESEX FELLS RESERVATION: Spot Pond Family Fishing Festival
Try your hand at fishing in Spot Pond for perch, bass, sunfish and more. Equipment and instruction provided. You are welcome to bring your own equipment. You do not need a fishing license during the Fishing Festival. Meet at: Straw Point on Spot Pond. South St. at Main St. (Rt. 28) Stoneham MA 02180. Co sponsored by: MassWildlife, Stoneham Police Dept., American Legion Post 115.

CAMP NIHAN: Signs of Life
Staff led walk through the forty acres of the Camp Nihan Environmental Education Center on the Saugus River. See traces of the living things that surround us and man's impact on the land. Camp Nihan encompasses woodland forest, marsh, and a spring fed pond. The Saugus River flows through the camp property providing habitat for water fowl and raptors. A variety of animals inhabit the area. Long sleeves, long socks, and long pants are recommended. Wear sturdy footwear and bring drinking water. Stay for a campfire afterward, as listed below.

CAMP NIHAN: Schools Out! Campfire
Celebrate summer vacation with a campfire at Camp Nihan. Come Early for a Nature Walk, as listed above. Meet at: Camp Nihan Environmental Education Center, 131 Walnut St, Saugus MA 01906, on the Wakefield side of Rt. 1 Look for a small green sign on your left 2/10ths of a mile after the traffic light. Drive slowly over the dirt the road; be alert for children.

All programs are free and open to the public.
CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
