Silver Maple Forest Options for Land Owners

May 29th, Cambridge Public Library
Sponsored by Friends of Alewife Reservation and Green Cambridge

Attend a presentation by Bob Wilber in Cambridge at the Beech Room to hear about land protection in Massachusetts and the many benefits and options open to land owners in order to conserve their land. Bob’s expertise is particularly relevant to the silver maple forest case. We will be getting ideas from Bob as to what the options may be for protecting the Alewife open space, FEMA designated floodplain and floodway. Of course this effort is not presently on the table, but it will help all of those interested in preserving the silver maple forest and its prodigious inhabitants of species that many of us have grown to know and to love.
