Good bye my love' @ 'sweet auburn' g.mclean 'call of the wild'
George McLean

let me warn you, this is a sad tale , i recieved a call at 8:00 a.m. on saturday. 'there was an injured fox at "mount auburn" and the mate is right next to her. i got there in 15 minutes and went to the back of the cemetery and crossed the street to land used for storage the fox was lying on the ground next to what i think was a den. and her mate was standing by her.
i started taking photos of this very sad sight. i had been seeing a fox for three months around the cemetery briefly had no pictures to show.
the beautiful small female was lying there her eyes with her closed , i could tell she was in a bad way and could have been there all night. he was nervous seeing us there and hesitated then walked over to her and nudged her with his nose several times, i almost cried . he finally moved to higher ground and kept watching. he barked repeatedly at us then looked down at her and left slowly looking over his shoulder. al parker with a mist in his eyes finally got through to 'the animal rescue ', and i left before i they got there. " there is beauty in this world and sadness also, enjoy the good days". george mclean
